We focused on parent communication for this project. To communicate with parents, we developed a class website. Prior to this website, we printed and sent home newsletters, information about special activities and information about curriculum separately. We also have many parents who request suggestions for activities they can do with their children at home, as well as ways to carry-over IEP goals being worked on in school. By developing this website, we can connect all of these things and put them in one pace where parents can go to as often as they would like too. We included a Diigo page for links to websites with activities for preschoolers, as well as a google calender to note special events and activities. We also developed a survey on Survey Monkey to get feedback about possible parent involvement activities.
